We are perfectly       located on Trail of The Ancients National Scenic Byway, the only byway in the US dedicated to archeology.  We are just next to Sand Canyon Trailhead, the public entrance to Canyons of The Ancients National Monument. You may access all of the destinations on the 116 mile loop from here then return and stay in the atmosphere, just under Sleeping Ute Mountain, sacred to The Ute people.

Just head back up our road and you're on the Trail with the entrance to Mesa Verde  in about 30 minutes. We highly recommend a trip to the Canyon of The Ancients Visitor Center, Hovenweep, and Crow Canyon. Get into our guest Library for lots of information about the loop and all that surrounds. So much to explore!
