on-site labyrinth
An auspicious guest connection brought a formal outside labyrinth to the place, designed by Connie Fente. This ancient tool of contemplation engages intentional walking, cultivating state of mind responses (centeredness, clarity, openness, peace, and reflection) known as the 'labyrinth effect." In turn, we become receptive to flashes of intuition, nudges from our "inner voice," as a form of insight meditation.

Situated in relationship with Sleeping Ute Mountain in front of The Lodge and surrounded with a new lavender garden the labryrinth is open to guests for exploration.

Allison, Connie Fenty and Celine
We are tapped into cross cultural archetypal presences of The Divine Feminine in all her forms -however she is named- so we felt it apt to assign the sacred meme Mother Mary to our labyrinth, honoring the ubiquitous Great Mother of compassion you will find all about the place. (And Connie's dear friend Mary who passed the day Connie arrived to sketch out the design on the land.)
We are members of the Labyrinth Society and Veriditas as well as listed on the world wide labyrinth locator.a
