Many thanks to those that commented about our place!
We loved our stay here. It was like going home in
the middle of our vacation. The location is amazing. The
snow-covered mountain across the way was the best thing to wake
up to. Seeing the beautiful deer dance in the road and the little
chirps from the birds out front. We can't wait to come back with
our friends and family. How could we forget this place?

There is no way to describe this Eden
among B&Bs and other places away from home. Marc and Jerene
provide an incredible space to enjoy nature, to walk back in
time, to enjoy great food and beer and last but not least, to
enjoy their wonderful sense of humor and stories of the area. We
look forward to longer stays in the future and are grateful for
this past week.

We had a wonderful time! Enjoyed the hiking, the solitude, the
fire pit and the kiva fireplace was awesome. It's a great place
to stay. We look forward to coming back.

Found you on the internet and really glad I did! Hopefully, we'll
see you again.

This was a great experience for the family! Four days
of relaxation and enjoyment! Mom found the place in a Colorado
guide book and it's definitely a pleasure. The mesas and canyons
were beautiful, the staff very friendly, the history intriguing!
Visiting Mesa Verde was a blast and catching the scampering
lizards on the rocks was so fun. We hope to come back and maybe
move here.
-Analie & Family
We had a great time exploring the ruins. The kivas were awesome!
The breakfast was great. We hope to see you again soon. We had a
wonderful, relaxing time here. This is a special spot.

Thank you Kelly Place for making our five night stay in the
deluxe cabin have the feeling of home. Every morning we could
wake up early and have breakfast (which usually consisted of the
most delectable fruits, breakfast quesadillas, pancakes,
scrambled eggs, French toast or more). Everyone was very
welcoming and the Kelly Place location was perfect. The cherry on
top here, though, was the patio. We could not have asked for
more!
-Natasha & Family
So far, I love it hear! I love the breakfast, the hikes and the
went down in a cellar thing. It was wonderful!

We have enjoyed the wonderful hospitality and beautiful, peaceful
setting at Kelly Place. Our family of five was able to settle
back and relax after a day of sightseeing. The kids loved
exploring the ruins both on site and in the Canyons of the
Ancients. Breakfast was divine and the afternoon and evening
snacks were something to look forward to. Thank you for a
wonderful stay.

Kelly Place - Great job! Perfect spot for a family to unwind,
relax, and re-connect! I think we were guided here by the good
Lord. He knows what we need and when we need it. I knew nothing
of this place-but we're here and I love it!! Thank you, Kelly
Place, for everything!
-Diane & family
Thank you for sharing the peaceful & interesting
home you've made. We enjoyed numerous hiked adventures during our
2-day stay. We will be back and will tell our friends in the
Phoenix area to visit also. Hope to see you soon!

Big Nature, wonderful places, nice people, not enough time.
-Wolf & Diana

Very enjoyable visit. Sorry we could only be here one night. Hope
to return next year. Food was great, people very friendly; great
place to stay. The stars at night, sensational!

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful place! Kelly Place
is more than a great place to stay; it is a once in a lifetime
experience. Being able to go in the ruins, and especially the
kivas, make it very special. And thanks for publishing the "39
cent tour guide". It helps a lot. We walked a little way up the
side canyon by the duplex cabins-and it just sucked us in-we
wanted to keep going (but it was sunset!). We will be back!

Grist Family Reunion-58 members of the Grist family enjoyed 3
days of fellowship in this beautiful area. Some "camped" in
tent/motor homes. Others filled the rooms which were very nice
and comfortable. We all agreed the staff is "top-rated" and made
wonderful, delicious meals. We hope to return.
-June & Family
We came down for our 10th anniversary and were not disappointed!
One night is not enough! We will definitely come back. The
breakfast was excellent and the company around the table was
good!
-Don & Carolyn
We are a family of today. We enjoy TV, DVD, Internet, cell
phones, etc., so the initial reaction to this environment was a
shock. However, after the first few hours, I realized how great
this experience could be. Along with all the beautiful sights in
the area, great hikes, interesting sites on the property, we also
had QUALITY family time. We had picnics, grilled nightly, roasted
s'mores, played games & just enjoyed being together!
Thanks!
-Ari & Family
Sorry we could only stay four nights. Extremely
relaxing place to be. Will miss the three little cats, the cool
nights, the gorgeous surroundings and the wit and humor of our
hosts. Hopefully we will return.
-Jo & Neil
Thank you so very much for a breath of fresh air. The
country-side and the accommodations were a much needed break from
an otherwise hectic life. The horseback ride and flintknapping
lessons were both a special treat that exceeded our expectations.
We encourage you to continue offering them as options for your
guests.

Thank you for a few nice days here at Kelly Place. This morning
we woke up to a hummingbird feeding on the floors in the
courtyard and deers grassing under the apple trees. We also had a
great visit to Hovenweep. Thanks for taking care of us.
-Drakos Family
We had everything we needed: comfy room, nature & beautiful
walks, quiet, great breakfasts & snacks, proximity to all the
4 Corners places, and help when we needed it. A wonderful place
& we'll be back.
-Kerry & Marilyn
Wow! What a wonderfully serene place-"far from the madding crowd"
of TV, cell phone, Blackberry, Twitter, texting, etc. Our cabin
was very comfortable (love the kiva fireplace). The food was
outstanding. And the opportunity to explore ruins with a
knowledgeable guide was magnificent. We'll be back!
-Bob & Doris
Wonderful visit-Should have spent our whole vacation here.
-John & Libby & Family

-Paul & Rebecca

We love this place. This is our third visit to Kelly Place. Wine
is great, breakfast bagels are great, ruins are great, redrock
canyons are great! What more can you ask for? (Well, the
accommodations are great and the host and hostess are super neat
people!)
-Glenn & Cherie
Incredible place to be even in the hot heat of
summertime. The hike to the ruins out back are worth it for sure.
Bring plenty of water though. Great food and accommodations and
peaceful surroundings. Enjoy!
-The Strouds
We came to escape the roar of motorcycles and succeeded. Very
quiet and peaceful. Loved the hikes on White Rim. It was great to
be able to take the grandkids inside 2 intact kivas. Breakfasts
were wonderful. Marc & Jerene, thanks for sharing your wealth
of knowledge. We will be back.
-The Hoonans
3 days in early Sept-who cares which ones. We did what we wanted,
rested often, got up with the sun, went to bed with the moon.
Walked the walks and are now revitalized. Thanks for the
regrounding. Awesome thunderstorms too. They came only at night.
Just like in Camelot.

Jim [staff archaeologist] and Ruth [San Juan Mountain Alliance
archaeologist for Road Scholar program] led a dynamic learning
experience for the 20 of us. We surveyed, drew, measured,
photographed and explored the ancient dwellings and work
surfaces. The more we learned, the more we questioned and dreamed
about. Kelly Place is a wonderful place to relax and gain weight
due to the delicious meals. A cold beer after a day in the field
was restorative. Mr. Riley and Miss Cookie Dough and family
[cats] delighted us. One of our best vacations.
-Lynne & Tom
So loved our peaceful respite here at your beautiful place. A
gift to us on our ten day journey through the southwest. Our
guide Paula opened our eyes and hearts to the wonder and
importance of the Anasazi people. If ever possible, we hope to
return to your little piece of paradise. Incredible
breakfasts!

What an amazing place to bring in the New Year. We sat in silence
for 4 days with amazing people, creating clarity, awareness and
love. The staff was wonderful and we felt well taken care of
while we were here.

What an amazing area! Marc was a wonderful, helpful, friendly
host-with great beer too! The food was to die for-Thank you! The
land holds huge handfuls of history. My mom could have spent
weeks discovering treasures & sites. And I couldn't have
given my children a better history lesson. What a gem of a
place!

Dear Kelly Place, Thank you for hosting our experiential
education trip. We loved learning about the Ancient Puebloan
people and working with Diane [archaeologist] and Leander
[pottery artist]. It was a great trip!
